The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University
Hi all, I received my acceptance letter today. Very exciting! I'll be entering the Photography program this September. Just one question. What exactly is a "quiet space" residence hall? I figure it has something to do with strict noise levels. Could someone clarify, please? Which halls are the quite space ones? Thanks!
since room lottery is basically the most badly planned thing ever, I'm going to be in lawrence next year- a dorm I know NOTHING about.
I'm not exactly looking forward to walking back and forth for meals and having crappy shuttle service.. but I keep hearing that the rooms are nice.
but, uh, what exactly do people mean when they say that the rooms are nice?
all I know is that I'm in a triple on the first floor.. any other info at all about the dorm would be nice, thanks!
i've decided to go to AIB in the fall and i'm just filling out a housing application.. A quick question. would you recommend lawrence hall or south campus residence halls as a first choice? pros cons? please and thanks?
my name is kate. i was accepted back in january for photo fall 2006. i'm going to accepted students day on april 8th, hopefully to make up my mind about going or not. anyone else out there going?
Hello all, my name is Deanna and right now I am a highschool junior looking at colleges and I was wondering what the graphic design program at aib is like? if you could give me some details as to how it is run, the assignments, etc that would be really helpful!
EDIT: i am visiting AIB on saturday and i was wondering what is totally nessecary for me to check out, thanks again!
Registration Time is nearly upon us. Pick up your packets, meet with your advisors, and gripe about the severe lack of classes for Illustration and Animation majors this coming spring.
Are the other majors this poorly off? The increase of one-day-a-week 1.5 credit electives is a bit startling. Or is that just moi? It was beyond difficult to make a six class schedule come out to be just fifteen credits for this coming term. Ouch. Maybe the underclassmen are having an easier time with their requirements?
I went to the Art Store today and... THEY MADE ME CHECK MY BAG! It's no big deal, it's just weird that they suddenly started enforcing this rule. I had to open up the 601N lock-up this morning and I was running late and I just needed a glue stick and the lady was like shouting from me from the counter and it was ridiculous cos I was up there again 30 seconds later.
OH WELL! JUST BE AWARE THAT THEY WILL GREET YOU AND MAKE YOU CHECK YOUR BAG NOW!
Speaking of Dick Blick, did anyone else ever use "Blickrylic" in high school? It was more like poster paint than acrylics.
I don't know whether I should include "Awards" or "Courses of Study" on my résumé. Please help me decide!( Click Here for Both Versions.Collapse )
The light text is kind of hard to read cos obviously it wouldn't render well at 72 dpi, but, like, you get the idea.
Any other thought or comments? Do you think "Computer Skills" and "Courses of Study" should be in light text (like in the first one) because of stronger contrast?
I will be printing these out today around 2pm or 3pm and sending them out; please comment as soon as you can!
Apologies to folks that got this twice!
